Snowland

 Our home in snow

As if I needed to mention it, we had a major snow storm pass through town leaving a gorgeous winter wonderland behind it, and making many small children very happy!  It was so incredible to see our home and neighborhood blanketed in fluffy white snow.  On Friday, Cole, Henry, Drake and I got out in the middle of it for about 2 hours (probably why I have a sore throat) to throw snowballs, and build Henry's first snowman.  Drake dug various holes in the snow and dove into our snow man twice.  Henry loved every minute of it and now asks me every morning if it is snowing outside.

Fun at the Fiesta Bowl

Even though the Frogs lost, we had an absolute blast at the Fiesta Bowl.  We had a chance to see so many people we hadn't seen in years.....the funny thing was, we're not sure we'd aged a bit...at least by the way we were acting.  Even knowing the end result, we still would have made the trip....it was a blast!

Happy Anniversary

Dinner at The French Room.....one of the best meals we've ever had!

This is a little late and out of sequence, but I just realized I forgot to include a photo of Cole's and my 5th wedding anniversary (11/6). Kaki and Papa T were kind enough to keep Henry so we could get-away for much needed massages and a night out on the town. Since we have been married, we have lived in 4 different houses, 2 different cities, Cole has changed jobs twice,  got his MBA at SMU, and we had our first child....and Drake has been with us all the way! Hard to believe it has been 5 years....who knows what the next 5 will bring!

Henry and Santa

Henry has really gotten in to the idea of Santa this year, and it has made Christmas even more fun! We had a family outing to the Bass Pro Shops where he found a toy truck and boat that he really wanted. We told him he needed to ask Santa. So, when we got home, he ran up to our big stuffed Santa and started telling him what he wanted. We grabbed the camera to try to catch the pleading. Here it is:

Henry's Thanksgiving Feast

The past two weeks have been interesting ;). Henry finally cut his last 2-year molars, and mom got her wisdom teeth taken out. So, poor Cole has had two fussy, tired, hungry "babies" to take care of! Today we went to Henry's school for their Thanksgiving Feast. Each class had their own "table" with place mats and head bands they made in Arts & Crafts. Each was asked what they were thankful for, and Henry said "toys"! Kaki and Papa T came to join in on the fun. We are looking forward to a fun Thanksgiving week, and some fun football games this weekend if only mom can get the swelling and pain to go away in her cheeks ;)

Halloween Week

Call it user error, but Blogger has not let me upload any pictures the last few times I have tried. I had to sort through hundreds of photos of Halloween week for this post and had to shrink every photo in order for them to load onto the blog. Alas, here are a few pictures from Halloween week. Yes, I said Halloween week. Anyone with little ones knows that Halloween (like Christmas, birthdays, weddings, etc.) lasts an entire week. We had a Halloween party at school followed by a parade and trick-or-treating, a Halloween Party with the family at Bent Tree, a Halloween playgroup, then Halloween night itself with a neighborhood party, trick-or-treating, then late night football at our house. Henry's Elvis costume is tattered and stained with chocolate, but he had the time of his life! He has been begging to go trick-or-treating every day. Here are a few pictures of our "Halloween Week":
