Happy Anniversary

Dinner at The French Room.....one of the best meals we've ever had!

This is a little late and out of sequence, but I just realized I forgot to include a photo of Cole's and my 5th wedding anniversary (11/6). Kaki and Papa T were kind enough to keep Henry so we could get-away for much needed massages and a night out on the town. Since we have been married, we have lived in 4 different houses, 2 different cities, Cole has changed jobs twice,  got his MBA at SMU, and we had our first child....and Drake has been with us all the way! Hard to believe it has been 5 years....who knows what the next 5 will bring!

Henry and Santa

Henry has really gotten in to the idea of Santa this year, and it has made Christmas even more fun! We had a family outing to the Bass Pro Shops where he found a toy truck and boat that he really wanted. We told him he needed to ask Santa. So, when we got home, he ran up to our big stuffed Santa and started telling him what he wanted. We grabbed the camera to try to catch the pleading. Here it is:

Henry's Thanksgiving Feast

The past two weeks have been interesting ;). Henry finally cut his last 2-year molars, and mom got her wisdom teeth taken out. So, poor Cole has had two fussy, tired, hungry "babies" to take care of! Today we went to Henry's school for their Thanksgiving Feast. Each class had their own "table" with place mats and head bands they made in Arts & Crafts. Each was asked what they were thankful for, and Henry said "toys"! Kaki and Papa T came to join in on the fun. We are looking forward to a fun Thanksgiving week, and some fun football games this weekend if only mom can get the swelling and pain to go away in her cheeks ;)

Halloween Week

Call it user error, but Blogger has not let me upload any pictures the last few times I have tried. I had to sort through hundreds of photos of Halloween week for this post and had to shrink every photo in order for them to load onto the blog. Alas, here are a few pictures from Halloween week. Yes, I said Halloween week. Anyone with little ones knows that Halloween (like Christmas, birthdays, weddings, etc.) lasts an entire week. We had a Halloween party at school followed by a parade and trick-or-treating, a Halloween Party with the family at Bent Tree, a Halloween playgroup, then Halloween night itself with a neighborhood party, trick-or-treating, then late night football at our house. Henry's Elvis costume is tattered and stained with chocolate, but he had the time of his life! He has been begging to go trick-or-treating every day. Here are a few pictures of our "Halloween Week":

Farmer Henry

Henry and I had the best day at the Owen's Spring Creek Pumpkin Patch and Farm today. If there was a place made for Henry, this was it. If only there had been a driving range included, he could have lived there. Here are a few pictures of him (us) having fun with the pumpkins, hayride, horses, and of course, the Tractors. He was obsessed with the tractors!

Fast Toddler

Things (Life, Henry) have been moving pretty fast the past few months, and unlike when we had a still little baby and our camera ready at every moment, the iPhone now has to be whipped out QUICKLY or else there is no picture! We're gearing up the next few days for our school Halloween parade and party, the Bent Tree Halloween party with family, our Halloween playgroup at a pumpkin patch and at Kristen's house, then trick-or-treating and our neighborhood Halloween party Saturday night. We fully expect to crash on Sunday. Here are a few pictures from the last month from our "quick!" camera.

Rainy day and time to break out the paint! this lasted 15 minutes before some landed on the floor. I thought that was pretty good ;)
Papa T gave Henry his Romo Jersey. He then had a first of many many spills onto the concrete....poor guy had a scraped nose and lip for 2 weeks!

Mom and Dad got a chance to get out and go to U2:)

Our usual....Friday night at Mi Cocina and Henry found a "tractor" parked outside...

Picking out the perfect pumpkins

Aunt Jensen was in town for training with her new job and came over for dinner last week! It was such a special treat for Henry to see one of his aunts that lives out of town, and he LOVED her reading to him.

Go Frogs!

Yesterday we took Henry to his very first TCU game. Yes, after 2 years, we finally made it out to the Fort for fun tailgating and a great game. We joined the Smith's and Margaret and rode to the stadium in a bus (was thrilling for the kiddos!). Henry was just as amused with the TCU golf carts as he was the game, band, and cheering. He probably "drove" every cart on campus before it was all said and done. His favorite thing was clapping and yelling "T-C-U" after the Frog horn sounded. He then spent hours playing at the tailgate with all the other children...running, throwing footballs and chasing the girls. Needless to say, we had a tired little boy by the end of the night :).
