Changing by the minute

Okay, okay, we know it has been WAY too long since we have updated this page. What a busy start to the new year! He is now just about 7 months and growing and changing so much. We've had numerous playdates at the park, visits from friends and family, and have grown to LOVE our walks in the stroller. Another favorite time is bathtime. Henry likes to test the water, then SPLASH it EVERYWHERE. Then he does face plants in the bubbles trying to eat them. It is hilarious. Recently, he learned to sit up on his own. He gets so proud of himself....just smiling and laughing. However, he does not stay put for too long....he has learned that he can roll and push with his hands and feet to get where he wants to go. So, we figure our days of a still baby are numbered. TM and Big Daddy came to visit and brought home their new "baby" - a white lab puppy named Bijou. They watched Henry so mom and dad could go out on a date which was great! We're getting geared up for Henry's first Easter in Louisiana and will have more pictures to come!

Christmas In Natchitoches

Henry's first Christmas was in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Although he wasn't particularly a fan of the 4 hour drive, he loved Louisiana and all the love and attention he received from T.M, Big Daddy, Aunts Kristen and Jensen, Uncle Scott, and cousins Larsen and Camille. He also loved meeting his Great Grandmother, Gran Mel. It was very special!

December...what a blur!

What a busy month! December has flown by and it is hard to believe that Henry is 4 months old. It seems like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital. After Thanksgiving, Henry was baptized at Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church. He was such a trooper....the church lost electricity, and it was dark and cold. Henry wore the christening gown and bonnet that Cole wore when he was baptized - it was very special! Since then, Henry has taken on a strong personality with lots of LOUD coo's, squeals, laughs, and babbles. He is rolling over from his tummy to his back, kicking his legs EVERYWHERE, trying to sit up on his own, and constantly chewing on his hands and fingers. We go to the Dr. right before Christmas, so we'll have a weight and height update then. Cole had 3 final exams in a row this month at SMU which kept him very very busy. We are all delighted that LSU is headed to the National Championship (we dressed up Henry for the announcement). Last weekend we celebrated Christmas with Kaki and Papa T because we're headed to Louisiana for Christmas this year. It will be Henry's first trip to Natchitoches! Cole, Henry and I are very very ready for a few days of family time!!
